Discussion Groups

Core Knowledge discussion lists are a way for educators and parents involved in Core Knowledge to keep in touch with each other via electronic mail (e-mail). Of course, you must have an e-mail address to participate in these discussions. People have used these lists to get lesson plans and units, find answers to questions they have, or just share stories of how Core Knowledge is working in their schools.

Please Note: These lists are a format for public, open discussions on Core Knowledge specifically, and on education in general. The Foundation does not monitor discussions and the views expressed on these lists are not necessarily those of the Foundation.

Core-Net Discussion List

This is a discussion group for those schools, both private and public, and individuals who are implementing the Core Knowledge Sequence in their curriculum. Areas covered include, but are not limited to, resources and teaching methods. To subscribe to the Core-Net Discussion List, send a blank e-mail to: Core-Net-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

Contact Morgan Willemse at: tmwillemse@a1solidedu.com with questions about this group.

Homeschoolers Discussion List

This is a discussion group for parents who use, or who are interested in using, Core Knowledge to homeschool their children. To subscribe to this list, send a blank e-mail to: ckhomeschoolers-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

Contact ckhomeschoolers-owner@yahoogroups.com with any questions, concerns, or comments.

Roundtable Message Boards

In February 2006 we introduced message boards on our website. We wanted to create a place for Core Knowledge educators to share their ideas. If you are using or considering using Core Knowledge curriculum in your classroom, we encourage you to register on our boards, post questions, and join the discussions.
